We have an exciting start to the season this weekend with the Colts playing at Suburbs at 1.00pm and the Senior A's and B's with a home game against Ohaupo.

Good Morning to our Junior Rugby Community

An email went out over the weekend with information regarding junior rugby and placement of children into teams. Saturday April the 13th at 12pm will be an opportunity for your child to meet their team and coaches for the up coming season. We are still looking for coaches for our Under 6 Hurricanes, Under 7 Broncos and Under 8 Raiders. If you can help these teams out please reach out to Jase 0278317699 any and all help is appreciated to get our juniors onto the field for the upcoming season.

The shop at the club will be open this Saturday (6th April) and Saturday the 13th of April from 12pm to purchase shorts and socks for the upcoming season. Jerseys will be presented to players on this day as well.

Open Day - Thank you
On Saturday the 23rd of March we held our Junior Open Day. It was to be a day of fun
with a bouncy castle and water slide but the weather said otherwise. Despite the rain, we
had a great turn out to meet the junior coordinators and committee members. Players
were able to try on and take home their uniform, purchase new and secondhand shorts
and socks for rugby and for hockey. While the kids met some of their teams mates,
parents were able to ask about the up coming season and get to know our club.
We were able to thank our 2 major sponsors, Fresh Choice and GT Civil with a framed
junior sport uniform where their logo is proudly displayed.
Thank you so much for sponsoring Junior Sport at Leamington.
Thank you to senior members for manning the bbq so everyone got a free sausage and
bread before heading back into the rain!
For those who were unable to make it, never fear, your sport coordinator will be in touch
with you to sort out playing uniform.

Membership Update:
The day before our open day, we announced the new Junior Membership Structure, making it more affordable for all your children to play sport at our club.
 

When signing up your second child, you’ll receive $10 off the full price fee, if signing up a third member of your family, you’ll get a further $10 off for their membership fee.
 

This structure will also apply for a child who is playing more than one winter sport.
