Leamington Rugby Sports Club offers players the opportunity to play junior netball in Years 0-8.
We love that our club is family orientated and we cater to local families at all levels.
Children play in their year groups.
These are Future Ferns modules with a focus on players and teams learning and improving skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly having fun while playing netball. This module is administered by Cambridge Netball Centre.
As a club, we endeavour to keep players from each school together in teams as much as possible.

Leamington Rugby Sports offers players the opportunity to play primary school rugby for a local family club that caters to all players.
Teams play in the following grades:
Friday
Rippa Rugby: Year 0-2
Primary rippa rugby structure is played either on a Friday afternoon/evening alternating weekly between Leamington Rugby Club and Hautapu Sports Club. This format is for Rippa Rugby only
Saturday
Grade 8: Year 3
Grade 9: Year 4
Grade 11: Year 5 & 6
Primary Tackle Rugby is on Saturday mornings as per draw between Leamington Rugby Club and Hautapu Sports Club.
It is a non-competitive module with a focus on players and teams learning and improving skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly having fun while playing rugby.

Leamington Rugby Sports Club offers players the opportunity to play primary school and intermediate Hockey.
Primary Hockey
Primary hockey is played on Friday afternoons/evenings on the hockey turf at St Peters Private School, Cambridge Road. Teams play in either of two grades, year 3 & 4 and year 5 & 6.
It is a non-competitive module with a focus on players and teams learning and improving skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly having fun while playing hockey. This module is administered by Cambridge Mini Hockey.
All games are six aside and played on a ¼ turf. As a club, we endeavour to keep players from each school together in teams as much as possible.
Intermediate Hockey
Intermediate hockey is played on Friday afternoons/evenings at various locations throughout Waikato. Intermediate hockey is a competitive season with teams being placed in one of 5 grades. All teams are six aside with the option of playing six a side with no goalie or six a side plus a goalie. All games are on a half turf. This competition is administered by Waikato Hockey.

Leamington Rugby Sports Club offers Junior Touch from Year 3 to Year 8. With teams playing in the following grades: Years 3 & 4 , Years 5 & 6 and Years 7 & 8.
We do our best to keep players in their school groups and give the opportunity to specify a friend they would like to play with. Term 4 competition runs Friday October 17th to Friday 5th December 2025.
Term 1 competition starts mid February and generally runs for 6 weeks. Games are played at memorial park, Taylor Street in Cambridge. First round starts at 4.00pm and played every half hour with rounds consisting of 2 x 12 minute halves.
