Junior Netball
Leamington Rugby Sports Club offers players the opportunity to play junior netball in Years 0-8.
We love that our club is family orientated and we cater to local families at all levels.
Children play in their year groups.
These are Future Ferns modules with a focus on players and teams learning and improving skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly having fun while playing netball. This module is administered by Cambridge Netball Centre.
The cost to play for the Leamington Rugby Sports Club is as follows:
Year 0-2 program is $60 per player for the season.
Year 3-8 cost is $70 per player.
Year 7-8 Hamilton Competition $85 per player
As a club, we endeavour to keep players from each school together in teams as much as possible.

Junior Rugby
Leamington Rugby Sports offers players the opportunity to play primary school rugby for a local family club that caters to all players.
Teams play in the following grades:
Friday
Rippa Rugby: Year 0-2
Primary rippa rugby structure is played either on a Friday afternoon/evening alternating weekly between Leamington Rugby Club and Hautapu Sports Club. This format is for Rippa Rugby only
Saturday
Grade 8: Year 3
Grade 9: Year 4
Grade 11: Year 5 & 6
Primary Tackle Rugby is on Saturday mornings as per draw between Leamington Rugby Club and Hautapu Sports Club.
It is a non-competitive module with a focus on players and teams learning and improving skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly having fun while playing rugby.
The registration is administered by Leamington Rugby Sports Club. The cost to players is $60 for the season, You will be invoiced for this once your player is registered. As a club, we endeavour to keep players from each school together in teams as much as possible.

Junior Hockey
Leamington Rugby Sports Club offers players the opportunity to play primary school and intermediate Hockey.
Primary Hockey
Primary hockey is played on Friday afternoons/evenings on the hockey turf at St Peters Private School, Cambridge Road. Teams play in either of two grades, year 3 & 4 and year 5 & 6.
It is a non-competitive module with a focus on players and teams learning and improving skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly having fun while playing hockey. This module is administered by Cambridge Mini Hockey.
All games are six aside and played on a ¼ turf. The cost to Hautapu Sports Primary hockey is $65 for the season. As a club, we endeavour to keep players from each school together in teams as much as possible.
Intermediate Hockey
Intermediate hockey is played on Friday afternoons/evenings at various locations throughout Waikato. Intermediate hockey is a competitive season with teams being placed in one of 5 grades. All teams are six aside with the option of playing six a side with no goalie or six a side plus a goalie. All games are on a half turf. This competition is administered by Waikato Hockey.
